International Symposium : One Year Before CBD COP10

The 10th Conference of the Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP10) scheduled for October 2010 in Nagoya Japan.
Not only the government, but also researchers, local governments, citizens in Japan are preparing various activities and recommendations to COP10.
As the series of memorial event of one year before COP10, Japan Committee for IUCN is having an international symposium on the post biodiversity 2010 target and Asia vision.
The purpose of this symposium is to discuss and propose the post 2010 Target and framework for the effective implementations of CBD.
We are going to give you all an opportunity to think how the post 2010 target should be and Global and Asian vision for biodiversity, life on Earth.
